Shannon + Owen : Married!

I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to kick off the new year. Owen and Shannon hosted an intimate, nostalgic and whimsical wedding brimming with personal details and DIY accents. Every single element of the morning, from the fully vegan brunch to the caricature artist drawing pictures for guests’ favors, was totally reflective of Owen and Shannon’s style. Throw in a quaint old-Florida style home in a trendy neighborhood and a couple willing to shoot anywhere (even the local laundromat!) and you pretty much have every photographer’s dream.

Shannon & Owen your wedding was the most beautiful event I’ve ever experienced. Every detail was a true expression of the creativity you both possess. The Lord blessed every minute and every attendee has “Oh, Happy Day” embossed in our memories forever. From the bails of hay adorned with lace & satin to the whimsical flower arrangements, to the banjo music & colorful streamers, and lets not forget the artist’s sketches of the guests and our very own photo shoot with family & friends and all the silly & crazy props….made this such a magical fantasy that will be remembered for generations. I thank God for each of you and I thank God that He designed you for each other. Love Always, Aunt Steffie, Uncle Bill, & Adam

Beautiful!

Shannon + Owen : Engaged!

As much as I’ve genuinely enjoyed all the couples I’ve had an opportunity to work with, I’m going to have to play favorites with this one. I truly LOVE this couple, but in all fairness, the groom-to-be is my very own baby brother. Shannon and Owen have been together for years, so she’s already like a member of the family to us. I was beyond thrilled when they asked me to take engagement photos for them. As a bonus, it turns out they wanted to do the shoot while we were all vacationing at our parents’ property in Georgia. Such a great idea. The light was beautiful everywhere we went. Love you guys! And looking forward to seeing you again soon.

Jacqui + Aaron : Engaged!

Jacqui found me through a good friend and old co-worker of mine (thanks, Oliver!) In case you don’t live in Texas, or maybe you haven’t left your house in a few months, it’s hot outside! The day of this session was no exception. But Jacqui and Aaron sweated it out (literally) as we visited some iconic Austin spots. I had a blast, guys! I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Baby Ruby

Little Ruby is one special little girl. Not only is she stunning, but she’s surrounded by parents and grandparents and aunts and uncles and neighbors who love and adore her. Many of them were on hand to celebrate her baby-naming. Congratulations, sweet girl!
